The Fourth Summer School of Law – an Inspiration and Education for Future Attorneys
In the period between 29th July and 2nd August 2024, we had the pleasure of organizing the fourth annual Summer School of Law together with the Students’ Association for International Co-operation (Studentska asocijacija za međunarodnu saradnju – SAMS). The educational significance of this program lies in deepening the understanding of legal theory and practice, as well as providing opportunities to gain knowledge and insights necessary for a successful introduction into the legal profession.
We were honored to welcome students Una Jazić, Vernesa Crvčanin, Ivana Nikolić, Jelena Eremić, Zdravko Erić, Darko Jovanović, and Ognjen Mijailović, whose active participation and enthusiasm created a wonderful atmosphere for the entire school period.
This year’s lecturers – Predrag Stojanovski, Sabina Dautović, Jovana Kuveljić, Dušan Panić, and David Bojić, shared their plentiful experience and expertise in various legal fields. Participants had the opportunity to learn about real estate transactions and property construction procedures, labor relations and mobbing, foreign exchange operations of companies with a focus on foreign credit transactions, bankruptcy, and e-registration of business entities. These lectures given by our colleagues not only enriched the knowledge of the participants, but also inspired these future lawyers to embark on their professional careers with newfound vigor.
We concluded the Summer School by forming new acquaintances, exchanging experiences, and by awarding certificates. With smiling faces and filled with knowledge, the students left our office, but not before a promise for us to meet again at the first opportunity, on one of our joint endeavors.
We eagerly look forward to the next summer and the new chances for joint learning and improvement, with another generation of dedicated students!
