Legal Pro Forum, held at Zlatibor from October 20^th to the 23^rd, 2024, brought together over 300 legal experts, judges, enforcement officers, attorneys and business leaders from the finance, NPL management and IT sectors. During the conference, 25 panels were held, with a special focus on the long-term value of the corporate ESG framework, real-estate and digital asset investment, and the prominent role of artificial intelligence within the legal profession.

This panel, dedicated to improving cooperation between banks, non-performing loan management companies, attorneys, and other legal professionals, welcomed the participation of Predrag Miladinović, Managing Partner at VP Law Firm. Lead by the moderator, Dr. Žarko Dimitrijević, public enforcement officer, the panelists – including Dr. Marko Radović, judge at the Commercial Court in Belgrade and associate professor at the Faculty of Law, Union University, and Attorney at Law Nemanja Nikolić – discussed key challenges and innovations in mutual cooperation between these important institutions.

This discussion highlighted the importance of improving communication and coordination between banks, non-performing loan management companies, attorneys, as well as judiciary representatives, including judges, enforcement officers and bankruptcy administrators, with the focus being on finding solutions to optimize the process and increase efficiency in resolving issues related to the collection of non-performing loans.
