On 2^nd October, VP Law Firm took part in the III Annual conference of the Bankruptcy Law Association, where our senior attorney at law Jelena Plamenac presented the topic “At the Crossroads of Company and Family Law – Joint Property and Shares in a Limited Liability Company” at the Round Table panel.

The panel was moderated by Dr. Katarina Dolović Bojić, Professor at the Faculty of Law, University of Belgrade, and its focus was on current issues and opposing positions in judicial practice and legal theory regarding how to treat a share in a company that potentially meets the criteria to be considered joint marital property, i.e., whether a share in a company can be subject to joint marital ownership at all.
