MEMEDIATION IN THE BUSINESS – OUT-OF-COURT DISPUTE RESOLUTION TOWARDS A FAVORABLE BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT
Members of VP Team attended the media conference and participated in the panel discussion regarding the representation of results of the Survey about business conditions in Serbia, organized by Deutsch-Serbian Commerce Chamber.
As guest speakers, Thomas Schieb, ambassador of Germany, Pavle Petrovic, head of the Fiscal Council of Republic of Serbia, and Ljubodrag Savic, professor of the Economic Faculty in Belgrade, have participated.
In Survey conducted in the period of February – March 2019 on the territory of Central and East Europe, 54 companies which do business with the German capital on the territory of Serbia have participated. The Survey results have shown exceptional satisfaction of German investors and employers with the commercial situation in Serbia, especially in area of academic and dual education quality, personnel quality, productivity and commitment of the employees for the work success, while they have expressed dissatisfaction in the area of criminal and corruption suppression, legal security, public administration, transparency of the public tenders and tax system and tax administration. As a final result, impressive 88% of the German investors would choose Serbia as investment and business destination again.
By taking part in this panel discussion, VP Team members have met all of the advantages and disadvantages of the commercial market and business in Serbia today, as well as gained a possibility to use the information and opinions of the guest speakers for improvement of the commercial situation in Serbia, and legal system in general.
