VP advised the client in the process of obtaining a license for the work of the company for the purchase of receivables before the Central Bank of Montenegro
The Team of the VP law firm advised the company ODM Collections, a regional investor in problematic assets, in the process of obtaining the approval of the Central Bank of Montenegro for the establishment of a company for the purchase of receivables, all in accordance with the provisions of the Law on financial leasing, factoring, purchasing of receivables, microcredit and credit guarantee (“Službeni list Crne Gore”, No. 73/17 of 11/03/2017, 44/20 dated 14.05.2020).
With consent given from the Central Bank of Montenegro, ODM Asset doo Podgorica will start its activities as a company for the purchase of receivables, with the ambition to become the leading company in this area in the local market.
Our team provided the client complete “outsource” services, resulting in practically the whole process of preparing an extremely demanding set of documentation in the field of financial institutions business, corporate and status domains, labor law domains and other related areas- being entrusted to our team.
VP team in the project consisted of Senior Attorney at Law Marijana Biševac, Attorney at Law Igor Joksović and Trainee lawyer Andrea Bačanek, as well as Attorney at Law Vasilisa Pejović. The team was led by Jelisaveta Janić, a Senior Attorney at Law. The support on the project in the field of finance was provided by Branka Damnjanović, from the company BND Consulting.
