VP Attends Bank Association’s Banking Law Seminar
The Association of Serbian Banks organised its annual Banking Law Seminar on 18 and 19 April 2024 in Zlatibor.
Partner Višnja Mandić and Attorney-at-Law Miloš Marinković attended on behalf of VP’s Banking and Finance Department. On the first day of the event, Višnja and Miloš presented a case study highlighting bills of exchange and bank collateral, where they provided legal commentary addressing a variety of issues surrounding the topic.
This year’s seminar offered a wealth of discussions in areas such as fraud and abuse in payment transactions, use of artificial intelligence in legal departments and the provision of legal advice, investment arbitration, sale of accounts receivable, and highly topical data protection issues.
The Banking Law Seminar is a key platform where professionals in numerous fields are able to share knowledge, experiences, and best practices. The interactive spirit of the event helps to enhance co-operation and build synergies between legal practice, banking, and public authorities, ensuring the interests of all financial sector stakeholders are better protected.
