Founded in 2006, NALED has grown into the largest public-private association in the country.

German-Serbian Chamber of Commerce (DSW)

Since 2012, VP Law Firm has been a member of the German-Serbian Chamber of Commerce (DSW), the largest business association in Serbia, with over 300 members in 90 countries worldwide. The DSW helps its members improve and develop their business and, facilitates the exchange of information and networking at a wide variety of events, from formal seminars to workshops, speed business meetings, and members’ dinners, to informal venues such as its Oktobarfest Football Tournament.

The DSW DSW supports German companies operating in Serbia whilst also helping Serbian firms compete in the German market.

German-Serbian Chamber of Commerce (DSW)

We are honoured to be a member of the region’s oldest Bar Association.

The Slovenian Business Club seeks to contribute to the professional development of its members by organising lectures, seminars, consultations, courses, and forums devoted to economic policy and related disciplines. It has presented and promoted successful projects, supported cultural events and sports matches, and helped publish articles and other media features on economic policy issues.

Italian-Serbian Chamber of Commerce

The Italian-Serbian Chamber of Commerce was founded in March 2002, and Vuković & Partners has been its member for the past seven years. The Chamber is one of the 78 Italian chambers of commerce abroad, which comprise a network of 140 offices with more than 180, 000 members.

The Chamber focuses on the needs of small and medium-sized firms. By analysing market information and organising events and meetings devoted to a variety of topics, the Italian-Serbian Chamber of Commerce provides support for development and creates opportunities for growth.

Its membership numbers close to 200 American, local and international companies across 18 sectors, namely distribution and logistics; financial services; ICT; human resources and employment; marketing / PR media/ entertainment; real estate; education; agriculture; manufacturing and production; travel and hospitality, consumer goods and services; consulting and accounting; legislation; and health and pharmaceuticals.

AmCham’s Committees drive the organisation’s efforts to improve the business environment via a two-year agenda that focuses on issues that affect membership, such as combating the grey economy, improving healthcare system, introducing e-government, further improving tax, labour and business regulations, working on much more efficient procedures regarding construction permits and improving market liquidity.

The Serbian Association of Employers is the sole representative grouping of employers in Serbia and numbers more than 133,000 members.

Since its inception in 1994, the Association has been seeking to safeguard the rights and interests of employers in areas governed by labour and social security legislation, and has been facilitating contacts with national, regional, and local authorities. The Serbian Association of Employers has also been taking part in collective bargaining and has promoted tripartite social dialogue, primarily as part of the Serbian Social and Economic Council, greatly contributing to the development of a sustainable business environment and helping make the Serbian economy more competitive.

VP Law Firm joined the Association in 2020.

The Croatian Business Club

The Croatian Business Club – HPK was founded in 2006 as a voluntary, non-partisan and non-profit organization, on the initiative of several companies from the Republic of Croatia and with the support of the Croatian Chamber of Commerce in Serbia and the Embassy of the Republic of Croatia in Belgrade.

The goal of the Club is the exchange of information, experiences and ideas between members – business entities operating in Serbia, whether it is Serbian or Croatian companies, or business partners from other countries whose representative offices are located in Serbia. Through the improvement of cooperation between companies, our long-term goal is to improve the economic cooperation between the Republic of Croatia and the Republic of Serbia by encouraging trade and investments.

We are proud members of the Croatian Business Club since 2023.

Bankruptcy Law Association

The Bankruptcy Law Association is a professional, non-profit organization in which bankruptcy law enthusiasts, employees of higher education institutions, corporations, public companies, banks and other business entities, chambers of commerce, commercial courts, institutes and other organizations have voluntarily joined.
The Association carries out its activities in order to improve and promote bankruptcy and related branches of law and their application in practice. A prerequisite for their achievement is a close connection between theory and practice, so the Bankruptcy Law Association strives to achieve cooperation with other related associations, organizations and institutions.

In front of the VP Law Firm and the Bankruptcy & Restructuring department, the members of the Association since 2023 are Višnja Mandić, Partner – Attorney at Law and Jovana Pavlović, Senior Attorney at Law.

The Foreign Investors Council (FIC) is a business association founded in 2022 with the support of the OECD by 14 foreign companies operating in Serbia. Today, the FIC boasts some 120 members that have collectively invested some 36 million euros and employing more than 100,000 Serbians, with some 75 percent of the member companies based in the EU.

The FIC is the sole business association that counts foreign chambers of commerce as its members, and as such represents the interests of the broader Serbian business community, sharing its goal to continuously improve the Serbian business environment to the benefit of all its citizens.

The values espoused by the FIC will remain its priorities for the future, with its key tenets being independence, transparency, professionalism, adherence to best global practices, and, first and foremost, support for European integration.

IBA - International Bar Association

The foremost organisation for international legal practitioners, bar associations and law societies. Established in 1947, shortly after the creation of the United Nations, with the aim of protecting and advancing the rule of law globally, the IBA was born out of the conviction that an organisation made up of the world’s bar associations could contribute to global stability and peace through the administration of justice. In the ensuing 75 years since its creation, the organisation has evolved, from an association comprised exclusively of bar associations and law societies, to one that incorporates individual international lawyers and entire law firms. 

The present membership is comprised of more than 80,000 individual international lawyers from most of the world’s leading law firms and some 190 bar associations and law societies spanning more than 170 countries.

The Business Lawyers Association of the Republic of Serbia

The Business Lawyers Association of the Republic of Serbia is a professional, non-profit organization founded on December 23, 1992. It was first established as the Business Lawyers Association of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, than it changed its label to the Business Lawyers Association of Serbia and Montenegro and as of December 22, 2006 the organization exists under the name of the Business Lawyers Association of the Republic of Serbia. The Business Lawyers Association is established as an association of citizens with no time-limit. It was founded by the lawyers practicing business law (22 of them), the representatives of the federation of Business lawyers association of Serbia and the Business lawyers association of Montenegro.

The association seeks to achieve the following goals and objectives:

  • To gather and to organize business lawyers and direct their work towards achieving ever more successful results;
  • To familiarize business lawyers with the latest developments in the field of business law and to keep them up-to-date with new economic regulations;
  • To promote legal practice as well as the role and mission of lawyers in different kinds of business organizations and to protect the dignity of the lawyers profession;
  • To cooperate with chambers of commerce, State organs, universities and other organizations with the purpose of improving the quality of draft business regulations and usages;
  • To encourage the setting up of a new system of business law, the harmonization of the domestic law with the EU law and the development of business ethics;
  • To support the modernizing of law schools’ curricula by introducing new business law disciplines.
