Jelisaveta Janić is a Partner and Attorney at Law at VP Law Firm, leading the Banking and Finance Department. She graduated from the Faculty of Law of the University of Belgrade in 2016 and joined the VP Team shortly after, beginning her career as a legal trainee in the Corporate Law department.
Jelisaveta passed the bar exam in 2019 and became an Attorney at Law in the Banking and Finance Department. In January 2023, she was promoted to Partner, recognizing her outstanding contributions to the firm.

With extensive experience in foreign exchange law, international trade, and non-performing loan (NPL) portfolio management, she provides strategic guidance to investors and financial institutions. Her expertise includes licensing procedures for financial services and claims purchases, regulatory compliance, and AML advisory.
Jelisaveta has successfully managed high-value projects, including NPL acquisitions and navigating licensing processes before regulatory authorities across the region. She is particularly skilled in guiding clients through complex negotiations, legal due diligence, and transaction structuring.
A member of the Serbian Bar Association and Business Lawyers Association of the Republic of Serbia, Jelisaveta is highly regarded for her in-depth understanding of the financial landscape and her ability to deliver tailored legal solutions. She is fluent in English, enabling seamless collaboration with international clients and stakeholders.
