Jelena Plamenac has been a member of the Belgrade Bar Association in 2014, when she joined VP Law Firm as an intern after graduating at the top of her class from Belgrade University Faculty of Law. Also in 2014, she completed a course in Environmental Law under the auspices of the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE).

In 2017, Jelena obtained her master’s degree in Business Law, specialising in Company Law, from the Belgrade University Faculty of Law. She is currently studying for a doctoral degree in Civil Law at the same faculty and completing her thesis entitled Equity interests in companies as jointly owned marital property.
