Jelena Plamenac has been registered with the Belgrade Bar Association since 2014, when she began her legal trainee internship at the VP Law Firm, after graduating as the top student of her class from the Faculty of Law, University of Belgrade. Additionally, in 2014, she completed the School of Environmental Law under the auspices of the OSCE – Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe.

She obtained the title of Doctor of Legal Sciences in 2025, when she graduated with honors from the Faculty of Law, University of Belgrade, by presenting her doctoral dissertation entitled A Share in a Commercial Company as an Object of the Spouses’ Community Property.
